A life change that seemed risky at the time, but it turned out really well

Bored and unchallenged, I was ready for a change. I quit my job on a Friday afternoon and sold everything I owned. With only my Rottweiler and all my belongings in the back seat, I moved across country to San Diego. One of the best life decisions I ever made. On a shoestring budget, I lived on the beach and graduated from law school before returning to Virginia a few years later.

I grew up in Cajun & Creole Country in southern Louisiana and spoke fluent French by the 6^th grade.
